KOH-I-NOOR MACHINERY is one of the four strategic divisions of the Czech group KOH-I-NOOR HOLDING. This world famous holding has production capacities in the Czech Republic, Russia, China or Bulgaria, and branches in more than 80 countries around the world. KOH-I-NOOR HOLDING employs more than 2200 staff and its annual turnover exceeds 3.5 billion Czech crowns. In the course of time, this group has significantly encouraged the economic growth of many Czech regions. The engineering segment of the division consists of four companies: KOH-I-NOOR PONAS, KOH-I-NOOR RONAS and KOH-I-NOOR FORMEX. The main production activities of the above mentioned companies are focused on the development and production of tools and moulds as well as on the production of injection moulded parts. In terms of company size, product quality and know-how, these companies belong to the best in Central Europe. Moreover, each branch is specialised in a certain production process such as complex technical parts, plastic parts with metal inserts and optical components, ensuring thus a highly effective cooperation of the whole group.
KOH-I-NOOR MACHINERY focuses not only on a regular innovation of its technological equipment, but also on innovation and development of the company as a whole. Therefore, the company established its own Centre of Knowledge Management and intensively cooperates with many Czech universities, especially with the Technical University of Liberec developing thus interesting projects concerning the future use of new technologies in serial production.
